Welcome to my digital corner! 🌟

I was born in Huitzuco, Guerrero, Mexico. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Engineering in Automatic Control at the Instituto de Ingeniería – Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), within the Department of Electrical and Computing Engineering. I am part of the Fault Detection research group under the supervision of Professor María Cristina Verde Rodarte. In addition, I am an Actuary intern and a teaching assistant in the Facultad de Ciencias of the same university.

My research interests revolve around studying, designing, and applying fault detection and diagnostic techniques in dynamic systems, leveraging tools from control theory, probability, and statistics. During my graduate studies, I studied linear and nonlinear systems analysis, modeling and parameter identification of dynamical systems and control theory.

I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Automatic Control, both accomplished at the Facultad de Ingeniería, UNAM.

I completed my high school education at the Centro de Estudios Técnicos, CSAEGro, specializing in Agricultural Technician. Throughout my time there, I actively engaged in various knowledge competitions, including the Olimpiada Mexicana de Matemáticas (OMM), the Olimpiada Nacional de Física (ONF), and the Olimpiada Nacional de Química (ONQ), where I achieved gold and silver medals in the latter.

In addition to my research work, I enjoy hiking, biking and going to the gym.
